Terms & Conditions

By booking services with Maison Kempt, you agree to the following terms and conditions:

 

1. Services

Maison Kempt provides residential cleaning, short-term rental turnover, and event clean-up services. The scope of work will be agreed upon prior to each service.

 

2. Booking & Payment

​

• All bookings must be confirmed in advance.
• Payment is due upon booking of the service unless otherwise agreed.
• Maison Kempt reserves the right to request a deposit for larger jobs or first-time clients.

 

3. Cancellations & Rescheduling

​

• A minimum of 24 hours’ notice is required for cancellations or rescheduling.
• Cancellations made within less than 24 hours may be subject to a cancellation fee (up to 50% of the service cost).

 

4. Access to Property

​

• Clients must ensure safe and timely access to the property at the scheduled time.
• If access is not provided, a lockout fee may apply.

 

5. Condition of Property

​

• Excessively cluttered or hazardous environments must be disclosed in advance.
• Additional charges may apply if the condition differs significantly from what was described at booking.

 

6. Satisfaction Guarantee

​

• If you are not satisfied, please notify us within 24 hours of service completion.
• We will return to address any missed areas where applicable.

 

7. Liability

​

• Maison Kempt is fully insured; however, we are not liable for:

• Pre-existing damage

• Normal wear and tear

• Items not disclosed as fragile or valuable

• Any damages must be reported within 24 hours of service.

 

8. Supplies & Equipment

​

• Maison Kempt provides all standard cleaning supplies and equipment unless otherwise requested.
• Clients must notify us in advance of any product sensitivities or preferences.

 

9. Pets

​

• Pets must be secured or disclosed prior to service.
• Maison Kempt is not responsible for pets that escape during service visits.

 

10. Pricing

​

• Prices are based on property size, condition, and service type.
• Additional time or services requested on-site may result in added charges.

 

11. Right to Refuse Service

​

Maison Kempt reserves the right to refuse or discontinue service if conditions are unsafe, unsanitary, or outside the agreed scope.

 

12. Privacy

​

All client information and property details are kept strictly confidential.
