Service Description
The purpose of this service is to provide safe, reliable, and compassionate residential cleaning for elderly clients, supporting their ability to live comfortably and independently in a clean, hygienic environment. Senior cleaning services are designed to deliver light-to-moderate housekeeping with a focus on safety, accessibility, and consistency. Services are adapted to meet the physical needs, routines, and preferences of elderly clients, while maintaining dignity and respect at all times. 3. Scope of Services 3.1 General Living Areas Dusting of accessible surfaces, furniture, and décor Vacuuming carpets and rugs Sweeping and mopping hard floors Light tidying and organization to reduce clutter Emptying garbage and recycling 3.2 Kitchen Cleaning Cleaning and sanitizing countertops, sinks, and surfaces Wiping exterior of appliances (fridge, stove, microwave) Spot-cleaning cabinet fronts Dishwashing or loading/unloading dishwasher Garbage and compost removal 3.3 Bathroom Cleaning & Safety Focus Disinfecting toilets, sinks, tubs, and showers Cleaning mirrors and fixtures Ensuring floors are dry and slip-free Light restocking of toiletries (client-provided) 3.4 Bedroom Cleaning Bed making and linen changes (if requested) Dusting furniture and surfaces Light organization to maintain clear walkways 3.5 Laundry Support (Optional Add-On) Washing, drying, and folding laundry Changing bed linens Organizing clean clothing 3.6 Senior-Focused Support Decluttering to reduce fall risks Ensuring clear and safe walking paths Gentle organization of frequently used items Observational awareness (noticing potential safety concerns and reporting to client/family if appropriate) Friendly, respectful interaction (without providing medical or personal care) 4. Service Exclusions The following are not included unless otherwise agreed: Medical, personal care, or mobility assistance Lifting or transferring clients Deep cleaning (heavy scrubbing, neglected conditions) Biohazard or hazardous waste removal Moving heavy furniture or appliances 5. Health & Safety Protocols Staff will follow hygiene best practices (handwashing, clean equipment) Use of low-odor, non-toxic cleaning products Care taken to avoid slip hazards (dry floors) Staff will not attend if experiencing illness Respect for any health sensitivities (e.g., respiratory concerns) Service Standard All services are delivered with patience, professionalism, and respect, with a strong focus on preserving dignity.
